Adani pledges over ₹1 lakh crore for West Bengal by 2035

The move

Gautam Adani said his group will invest more than ₹1 lakh crore in West Bengal by 2035, covering ports, logistics, renewable energy, power, roads, green cement and hyperscale data centers. He also laid the foundation for a 2,000-bed hospital in Kolkata, part of a separate ₹4,000 crore healthcare investment.

Why it matters
